Devil's Tower

haven't had a chance to update this in a while... we ended up staying with my family in North Dakota for 5 days and i haven't had access to the internet.

(if you want to read chronologically, start with North Dakota and work your way up)

right now we're staying at this brick mansion bed and breakfast palce in Bozeman Montana, run by two gay guys, but that will have to wait.. actually today we're leaving and headed out to Yellowstone to, hopefully, do some serious camping.. we'll keep you updated

catching up.......

we stopped at Devil's Tower in Wyoming on our way out of South Dakota.

according to indian legend, long ago some children were trying to escape from a giant bear who was trying to eat them and the Great Spirit intervened and protected them by raising the ground they were standing on. hence the scratches in the side of the rock.

i got a cool print of this painting which will go next to my fireworks poster

of all the crazy coincidences, as fate would have it, we saw the cross-dressing biker guy again (from Mt. Rushmore), this time wearing his hair in pig tails and some kind of red and white little-old-lady outfit

we struck up a conversation with him (he's from Bishop) and got our picture.

i'm hoping we'll see him again on the trip. he's like our guardian angel, who looks like Santa in drag

i have to say, this guy has serious balls to go around in the crowd were were in dressed as he was. i don't know if he was on a bad acid trip, or just likes to dress that way, but i commend him.

here's to you cross-dressing Santa biker guy
